about the girl..

Allow me to tell you a few things about my lovely bride to be:

- Julie Anne Gonzales was born on July 20, 1980 in Balanga, Bataan to proud parents Francisco and Milagros Gonzales. She has one brother named Jan Michael.

- Julie is an amazing dancer and took up ballet until highschool. She later on joined the UP Street Dance Club where she says that one of her most satisfying achievements is her participation in the 1999 UP Dance Concert which was a collaboration of all the different dance clubs in the University.

- She is a cosmetics aficionado. One of her most prized possesions is her train case which houses her extensive collection. She is also a member of the webforum "girl talk".

- Her specialties are pasta pesto and garlic pasta.

- She also loves reading books. Her favorite author is Nicholas Sparks.

- She's a big fan of Korean soap operas and Kimchi.

- Top 3 kikay things she can't live without: sunblock, lip gloss/balm, tinted moisturizer

Julie is certainly my dream girl. Pretty, smart, sweet and most importantly, fun to be with! She doesn't have to go out to have a good time. She can find just as much enjoyment in staying home and watching a movie as going out and having cocktails with her girlfriends. I believe this shows her true nature as a bright and cheerful person. She also loves food, eats whatever she wants and still maintain her great figure. This makes her a great catch for any man and the envy of other women. Also, I can not emphasize enough how loving and thoughtful Julie is. My day would not be complete without her super sweet text messages when I wake up in the morning. I had to persuade her to send the messages before she slept so she didn't have to wake up at 4am to send them to me. I also remember the time when she contacted one of my friends at work to organize a surprise for me on my birthday. Even though we weren't physically together, she was able to make my birthday a trully unforgettable one.

I could go on and on about how spectacular a person Julie is, but I shouldn't. If you're a friend of Julie's, you'll know what I'm talking about. And If you're not, I'm sure you'll love her. I feel like the luckiest man alive because I have found her and come the 19th of Feb 2011, she will officially be mine!!!

about the boy..

Hey! Julie here.. Let me introduce and describe to you my future groom. :)

- Rafael Teodoro Katigbak, the only son of Tito Eric and Tita Emaleen and a good brother to Yeye, was born on September 1, 1983 in Tuguegarao City.

- Raf is a BS Architecture graduate from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

- Raf loves to cook, intends to join a reality cooking show in Melbourne, is a big fan of Iron Chef and dreams of becoming one some day, desires to have a themed cooking show in the future, and thinks of having his own resto for business. Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares is his favourite cooking show.

- One of his major activities is playing with Laura and Tanya, his valuable possessions.. his guitars. He rehearses with his band mates every Sunday. They play hard rock/metal most of the time. Raf writes songs as well. The music of Pearl Jam, Joe Satriani, Racer X, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden,Metallica, Velvet Revolver are his favorites. Oh before I forget, Raf's ultimate goal is to become a rockstar!

- Raf likes to watch movies. Some of his favourites are Lord of the Rings trilogy, Swordfish, Armageddon, and good old 80's comedy.

- Now I want to tell you about this man in my own perspective. Raf, since I met him, has always been a sweet and thoughtful person. He's smart, talented, and charming too. I can see why his parents are so proud of him and why his relatives always say good things about him. He's truly a responsible son and a kind brother. Raf is the kind of person who thinks about his actions before he actually decides on taking them on. He prepares for the future and holds contingency plans if something goes wrong. He also has the ability to admit his mistakes, be sorry about them and do something to straighten things up. All of these makes me admire him more and more each day.

I don't exactly know why I fell in love with him, I just did... BIG TIME! I am extremely proud to have a man like him in my life.. very loving, caring, responsible, funny, sincere, has a sense of ownership.. most of all, handsome and HOT! When I met him, I knew he is the one I've been waiting and praying for. I want every girl to precisely understand how lucky and blessed I am, but I would need a genie to be able to do that. I have to be granted a power to make an accurate replica of Raf in all aspects and reproduce him so I can share an exact Raf to each girl. In that way, I could already accomplish my goal. 

All my life, I never thought I'd deserve a very pleasant man.. but now I believe there's also one for me. I'm the most grateful girl to God because he made me worthy of Raf's love and I'm absolutely happy to love and respect him.. I promise that I will always do.
