Civil Wedding

 On the 27th of November 2011, Julie and I got married at the Old Treasury Building in Melbourne, Australia. Julie was wearing a lovely white dress (see photos) and I was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and white tie. We were also joined by my parents and my sister. The ceremony was short and simple but it was still very memorable. We were blessed with lovely weather in the morning which allowed us to have a bit of a photo shoot after at the nearby treasury gardens.

That evening.  40-50 of our close friends joined us for a little dinner party despite having the wettest weather you can imagine! Regardless, we like to think it's a sign of good luck. Overall, the party had lots of fun, food and laughter. 

The fact that our big wedding will be in February does not take away from the significance of this day in our lives. Afterall, this is our real wedding date (as far as the commonwealth of australia is concerned). But aside from this, what really makes this day special is the support and blessings we received from family and friends.
