First Fitting :)

Just like any ordinary girl, ever since my teenage life, I've been always dreaming of who my prince charming will be, when I'll be getting married, and of course fitting my bridal gown. Here's my story of the latter...

Initially, I requested from Ate Analie if my first fitting could be in the last week of October or first week of November since I'll be leaving for Melbourne on November 16. However, I text her last week if could have it before October 15 because I'm scheduled to meet my headpiece supplier on October 16 and I wanted to see the actual color of my gown (fabric used was pinya cocoon) and what beads were used so I can match it with the headpiece. I was absolutely surprised when Ate Analie replied that my gown is 100% finished already! After 5 days, they came to our house with my gown. I was really excited and finally, while I was already in it, couldn't explain how I felt... i wasn't really teary eyed as some would surely ask if I was.. but the joy I experienced at that moment could never be compared with any usual emotions. It wasn't simply like fitting an ordinary dress nor wearing a glamorous gown. It was an elating, once in a lifetime and one of the greatest encounters I've ever had. And I thank God for that. :)

I know you would want to know how the gown looks... Unfortunately, I intentionally did not take photos of the fitting since I still want to hold a little surprise on our special event. But don't expect too much because I really chose a very simple but elegant, classy design for my gown. I want to look plain and effortless on my wedding day. :) I want to thank Ate Analie Casedo for her beautiful creation. Can't wait to finally see the accessories as well... and the shoes!
